Obituary For Mr. Stephen Law, Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. Stephen Law, Jr., 69, of Sumter, SC, will be held 11:00am, Monday, July 17, 2023, at Kingdom Builders Deliverance Ministries, 621 W. Liberty Street, Sumter, SC. Bishop Leroy James is officiating.

Stephen Law Jr. was the son of the late Laura Law and the late Stephen Law Sr. He was born January 17, 1954, in Sumter, South Carolina. Stephen passed away at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter, South Carolina, after a brief illness on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. He was surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, and kindness.

He received his formal education in the public schools of Wedgefield, South Carolina. He worked at Georgia Pacific in Sumter, South Carolina, for several years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

His precious memories will be cherished by his loved ones: two sisters: Mary Louise Davis and Lucinda Sinkler of Wedgefield, South Carolina, and one brother Hallie (Carleen) Law, both of Sumter, South Carolina; nieces: Melissa Philadelphia, Vanessa James Rhodes, Teresa Davis-Amoako, Kristen Davis, Elizabeth Law, Barbara Sinkler, Marcelline Sinkler, Caroleen Law, April Law, and Tasi Kennedy; nephews: Tony Law, Curtis Sinkler, Jimmy Sinkler, Lawrence Rhodes, Michael Davis, Ronald Davis and Terrance Brown; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.

He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew him.
