Funeral services for Mr. Tyrone Fersner, 76, of Columbia, SC, will be held 11:00am, Friday, November 22, 2024, at Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel, with interment to follow in Andrew Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Fersner passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at his residence.
Public viewing will be held Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 1-6pm.
Family and friends may visit 1125 Statler Road, Columbia, SC or call Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory of Orangeburg.

Why you had to leave us old man . Love you forever Grandpa you were like a father figure in my life a very positive influence I will forever love you and Grandma. Yall were the best thing to ever happen to me besides Jesus. I was blessed 🙌 to be a grandson for 28yrs we tried the best to keep you healthy but God had other plans. I will forever cherish the small things. Like our family dinner, cookouts, you coming to my mama house to help mow the lawn, teaching us about fixing cars, and the value of family. I'm hurt but with God on my side I know he will help me through this grief 😔

Tyrone was an angel on earth, watching over our mom , Miss Thelma his neighbor for over 25 years. He was always there to lend a helping hand, give her rides, and anything she needed help with. We are saddened for your family, but joyous that he can be in heaven now with Ms. Queenie living his eternal life. We love you all, Kim, Marian & Ernest
