Obituary For Mr. Tyrone Green

Funeral services for Mr. Tyrone Green, 52, of Holly Hill, SC, will be held 11:00am, Saturday, September 9, 2023, at True Faith Baptist Church, 1005 Eutaw Rd, Eutawville, SC, with interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Green will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.

Tyrone Green son of late Joe Louis Green, Sr. and Clary Clemmons Green, was born on January 26, 1971, in Holly Hill, South Carolina. He departed this life on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Roper Hospital, Charleston, South Carolina.

He grew up and received his education in the public schools of Holly Hill, South Carolina and was a graduate of Holly Hill Roberts High School, class of 1989.

After graduating, He joined and served proudly in the United States Navy. Following this service, Tyrone successfully completed all graduation requirements, and training hours to received his CDL License and began pursuing a career as a Professional Truck Driver. He approached his work with dedication and excellence, earning the respect of his colleagues, and earned the handle as "Low Budget".

At an early age, Tyrone joined New Jerusalem Baptist Church. Later joined Messiah Pointe Ministries. In honoring his final commitment and last wishes, he accepted Christ as his Savior and joined The True Faith Baptist Church.

Tyrone enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and watching sports (How Bout Them Cowboys) win or lose, he was a loyal "Ride Or Die" Cowboy fan.
Tyrone was a person with much love, kindness, and friendship for all who knew him, also an amazing passion and love for children. He brought immense joy and warmth to those around him, with his infectious laughter and genuine smile. Tyrone will live on through the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the memories he created. May his soul find eternal peace, and may we honor his memory by embracing love, kindness, and friendship in our own lives.

Tyrone was preceded in death by his wife Lynette Mitchell Green, and stepson, William Mitchell.
Tyrone is survived by his four siblings, Catherine Hatcher (Joe), Richard Green, Joe L. Green, Jr. (Lois), Kenneth Green, Mary Ann Green; bonus parents, Charles and Maytha Green; three step children, Kaniesha Mitchell, Rasheed Mitchell, and Spencer Mitchell; the apple of his eye, Ty'Ronae; and a special friend Lakeisha Evans; to cherish his memory; host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 8, 2023, from 1:00pm - 6:00pm, at Simmons Funeral Home of Santee.
