Funeral services for Mr. William Lee Clark, 68, of Orangeburg, SC, will be held 11:00am, Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel, 2868 Columbia Road, Orangeburg, with interment to follow in Andrew Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
On Sunday, February 4, 2024, an angel of the Lord visited WILLIAM “BO DILLY” CLARK at MUSC Health - Orangeburg and quietly prepared his journey home.
William Lee “Bo Dilly” Clark was born on June 21, 1955 in Bowman South Carolina to the late J.C. and Marie Berry Clark. He received his education in the Orangeburg County Schools, and he joined Andrew Chapel Baptist Church at an early age. He also worked at Phoenix Specialty Metals for many years.
Bo Dilly was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Marie Clark, and two sisters, Vera Clark White and Gladys Berry.
The legacy of William’s season is left to be remembered by: his daughter, Barbara Brooks (Charles Jr.) Holmes; three granddaughters, La'Daijah Pettway, Dalaiah Williams and Nevaeh Holmes; two grandsons, Samuel London and Charles Holmes, III; two great-grandsons, Josiah and Nasir Pettway; one brother, Freddie (Angela) Clark, Sr.; one sister, Kay C. (George) Dantzler; two brothers-in-law, Eddie White, Jr. and Robert Lee Felks; nine nieces, Sandra Clark, Bobbie Felks Anderson, Persephone (Michael) Banks, Valencia Maria Felks, Lakesha Colter Lee, Gwen Jackson, Tonya Smalls, Kim Davis and Nicole Davis; nephews, Conrad (Stephanie) Felks, Johnathan Hopkins, Keith Clark, Freddie (Courtney) Clark, Jr., Stanley Jackson, Eddie (Rochelle) White, III and Bernard (Zakia) White; two aunts, Inez B. Pauling, and Carrie L. Berry; one uncle, Deacon Louis Berry; ex-wife and friend, Russcener Littles; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 12, 2024, from 1:00pm - 6:00pm.
