Obituary For Mrs. Barbara Ann Plush Ellison
Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Ann Plush Ellison, 59, of Cordova, SC, will be held 12:30pm, Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel, 2868 Columbia Road, Orangeburg, with interment to follow at St. Paul AME Church Cemetery, Creston.
Mrs. Ellison passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Lexington Medical Center, West Columbia.
Public viewing will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 1-6pm.
Family and friends may visit 385 Riley Road, Cordova, from 4-7pm daily. The family can also be reached via telephone at (803) 665-4444 or call Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory of Orangeburg.

My beautiful cousin β I'll always remember our sleepovers, how she tried to keep me in line (and failed every time). We laughed until it hurt and stuck together as kids, riding the bus to and from school like nothing could touch us. When my daughter passed, she was right by my side, checking on me constantly and holding me up when I didn't have the strength. We even lived together for a short time, and we were so close β truly like sisters.
