I am so deeply sorry for the loss of Auntie. She had such a warm, wonderful presence in our lives, and she will be missed so much.Some of my absolute favorite memories of her are tied to the kitchen, especially her famous bread pudding. I am also reminded of 2 Timothy 4:7: "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith."

Thank you for your strength, your wisdom, your encouragement, your love, and your support. Thank you for every hug, every laugh, every amazing recipe, and, most importantly, for allowing me to watch you serve. Thank you for believing in me, even when I didn't believe in myself.

I learned how to serve by watching your example, and I am the intercessor that I am because of God, but also because of the seeds you sowed into me, teaching me how to pray. That is a legacy I will carry with me always.

I love you, and I will miss you deeply, but I find comfort in knowing that I will see you again.

Rest well, my beautiful grandmother. I admire your strength and courage more than you will ever know.
