Obituary For Mrs. Corine Johnson

Funeral services for Mrs. Corine Johnson, 79, of Orangeburg, SC will be held at 11:00am Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Simmons Funeral Home Chapel, 2868 Columbia Road, Orangeburg.

Corine Johnson, the daughter of the late Leon & Estelle Williams, was born June 23, 1940 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. She entered eternal rest on Monday, May 18, 2020. God called a beautiful angel home.

She was a loving, caring, hard-working person who always spoke her mind.

She worked as a nursing assistant at Edisto Convalescent Home as well as the Regional Medical Center. She also worked as a private nurse.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Johnson; special friend, Matthew Jamison; four brothers: Ernest Williams, Leon Williams, Herman Williams and Samuel Williams; and one sister, Dorothy Pam.

She leaves to cherish fond memories two daughters: Tina Middleton and Shirley Ferguson; five grandchildren: Maurice Ferguson, Michelle Williams, Keven Williams, Marcus Ferguson and Ashley Williams; 12 great-grandchildren; five brothers: Hazel (Dorothy) Williams, Charles (Stella) Williams, Moses Williams, Larry (Tina) Williams and Jackie (Paula) Williams; two sisters: Jacqueline Green and Marilyn (Johnny) Jamison; two special friends: Barbara Riley and Brenda Mack; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 29, 2020 from 2:00pm – 7:00pm.
