Funeral services for Mrs. Eliza Esaw Bronson Warren, 77, of 1251 Delmas Street, Orangeburg, SC, will be held 2:00pm, Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
Eliza Esaw Bronson Warren, daughter of John Henry Wallace and Lessie Esaw, was born June 25, 1947, in Lone Star, South Carolina. On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, Eliza was called to God’s eternal home at her place of residence.
Eliza attended the public schools of Calhoun County, South Carolina. Shortly thereafter, she relocated to Patterson, New Jersey, where she worked as a bus driver for the Patterson School District and New Jersey Transit. After 27 years, Eliza returned to South Carolina and settled in Orangeburg County. There, she continued her career as a bus driver with Orangeburg Consolidated School District for 24 years before retiring.
On April 6, 1996, Eliza was united in Holy Matrimony to Deacon Clifford Warren.
Eliza was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband; two brothers: Sam Esaw and John Wallace Jr; and two sisters: Mary Jamison and Mary Lue Wallace.
Eliza will be cherished in memory by her children: Ricky Earl Bronson of Orangebug, SC, Joseph Michael Bronson (Shelley) of St. Matthews, SC, Jennifer Marie Bronson and Elizabeth Louise Bronson both of Orangeburg, SC; nine grandchildren: Takeia Fairmon (Phillip) of Plainfield, NJ, Joseph Michael Bronson Jr of Patterson, NJ, Jacquese Barrette of St. Matthews, SC, Ricky Earl Bronson Jr. of St. Matthews, SC, Messiah Bronson of Patterson, NJ, Regine Bronson of Patterson, NJ, Tanasia Bronson of Orangeburg, SC, Davonte’ Bronson of Orangeburg, SC and Ramya Bronson of Bowman, SC; 12 great-grandchildren; six sisters: Dorothy Jager, Ernestine Dingle, Josephine Dingle, Lavina Bradley (Joe) all of Cross, SC, Shirley Small (Russell) of Moncks Corner, SC and Bessie Smith of Patterson, NJ; three brothers: James Esaw of St. Matthews, SC, Gerald Peeples of Colorado and James Wallace of Cross, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and dear friends.
Mrs. Warren passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
Public viewing will be held Monday, June 2, 2025, from 2-6pm.
