My deepest condolences to my family. Lord knows Hattie was indeed one of my favorite cousins. I've known Ms. Hattie since I was a little person learning about this crazy world. She was my neighbor, my cousin, my friend. I felt like she was more like an auntie, a mother and an great teacher. Oh man was she strong an awesome wife, also an outstanding mother. She was an active, dedicated supporter of the Women's Auxiliary and other ministries at Jones Chapel. Indeed, Hattie was a devoted wife, mom and a "Super Grandma". Sometimes, I would asked her: "Hattie, how do you do it all"? Her response with a smile would be: "I just do it". I will dearly miss Hattie M. Lewis, a true servant of God. I feel so blessed to have know Sis Hattie for over 44 years. She meant so much to my husband and myself. I'm so glad that I was able to see and hug her at my husbands home going just last month. I love her and her family so much, and I am so sorry that they have to go through this grieving process, it's so hard.Praying for her family and loved ones.
