Condolence to the Jordan and Sistrunk family for the loss of your dear loved one. During this time of such great loss we can look to our Heavenly Father the "God of all comfort" to help us.—2Corinthians 1:3,4. May you find comfort in knowing that your dear one is safe in the memory of God. That gives us the hope of seeing our loved ones again.—Acts 24:15. Continue to pour out your heart to God in prayer because "he cares for you".—1Peter 5:7. May these words be a source of comfort to you today and in the days ahead. Doris Hampton Jennings

My sincere sympathy to the Jordan and Sistrunk family for such a loss. I met Shirley during the year 1978, CETA Programs. Those years were so much fun and laughter with Shirley and two other monitors that would visit us often. She was very clear with her guidance and support. With that came her softness, smiles and a short joke. It was a pleasure knowing her, girls, husband and other family members. I say to the family be strong and reflect on the fun you had with her. I know l had some loving moments and conversations that I will always cherished. Release her into his arms with your entire heart.
