Funeral services for Ms. Kenya Monique Williams, 29, of Orangeburg, South Carolina, will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel, 2868 Columbia Road, Orangeburg, with interment to follow in North Orangeburg United Methodist Church Cemetery, Ridgewood Site. Rev. Jerome Williams is officiating.
Kenya Monique Williams, the daughter of Michelle Williams and James Hill, was born January 31, 1994, in Orangeburg, South Carolina. She gained her wings April 22, 2023.
Kenya was educated in the public schools of Orangeburg, South Carolina and was a 2012 graduate of Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School.
Kenya became a business owner, K & K Hair Kollections. She was also a former employee of Volvo of Ridgeville, South Carolina. Kenya was preceded in death by her aunt, Monique Williams; and her grandfather, Bill Sanders.
She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories: her children: King, Kylie and Karter all of Orangeburg, SC; the father of her children, Alverquan Smith; two sisters: Santana Williams of Orangeburg, SC and Jade Hill of Charlotte, NC; two brothers: Jaden Hill of Georgia and Jordan Hill of Spartanburg, SC; two nieces: Deamiyah and Deamyni McFadden both of Orangeburg, SC; two nephews: Jahmeir and Sahmarion Williams both of Orangeburg, SC; grandparents, Mary Williams of Orangeburg, SC and Hattie (Charles) Williams of Bamberg, SC; three uncles: Larry Williams and Willie Williams both of Orangeburg, SC and Ronald Hill of Atlanta, Georgia; two aunts: Elizabeth Williams and Teresa Felder Williams both Orangeburg, SC; special cousins: Jessica Williams, Shaniqua Williams, Correll Williams, Jonneisha Williams, Sarkasha Williams, Leyasha Williams, Nh’Asia Williams and Danasia Hill; two special friends: Qydearia Mitchell and JaJuan Cooke; and a host of other loving family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 28, 2023, from 1:00pm - 6:00pm.
Family and friends may visit the residence of her mother, Ms. Michelle Williams, 1996 Ellis Ave., Orangeburg, or call Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory of Orangeburg.
