I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Aunt Ruby. Even though we weren't related by blood, I always felt so lucky to call her 'Aunt'. Aunt Ruby was such a virtuous woman, and I feel so blessed that my best friend, Cam, shared her with me. Aunt Ruby had such a special way of making me feel like part of the family whenever I saw her. I'll always cherish the memories we shared while visiting with Mother Gordon. May God grant the family peace, strength, and comfort during this difficult time and the days to come.

Aunt Ruby you will be truly missed. You was loved and honored by many. I remember when we used to talk on the phone and you telling me about your babies at the school. Boy oh boy did those kids love you. You were the grandmother of the class. We laughed and laughed about how those kids just admired you. I remember when I was a little girl and you took me jay and little Terrance to Disney world we would talk about that as I got older. Aunt Ruby had love some Shaka Ria that's what she called me. I just loved your good ole food. The best cook I know. She was a very strong and brilliant woman. She lived a great life. Gone but never forgotten I will always remember my Aunt Ruby. We love you aunt Ruby but God loves you more. Take your rest my sweet Aunt Ruby until we meet again.

To my aunty Ruby, words can't express the way I felt about you, Aunty your name describes who you were:wisdom and spiritual beauty. I'm going to miss our conversations and laughter, especially when you talked about your childhood and memories with my dad. The thing with you Aunty you were more than a sister in law to my mother, but you were a sister to her, you told my children and grandchildren that you were their aunty too, but most of all you welcomed my husband the same and he called you aunt Ruby as well. You will always hold a special place in my heart and I will surely miss you, but I will always cherish the memories that we shared. You been in our lives since me and my siblings came in this world. You know you're my favorite Aunt and im your favorite Niece always has. Im going to miss laughing and talking to you on the phone.
