Lord my girl is gone๐ฅน๐ This still doesn't seem real. I am thank for the friendship that we shared. I met Shontay in College and we remained friends until the very end. Shontay was my right hand after the birth of my daughter. My daughter was the biggest cry baby ever, for no reason at all. I can remember Shontay holding Logan looking her in the eye asking what is wrong with you? What you crying fa? And the nights when she would say Crystal you look tried!! I'm going to spend the night so you can get some rest. She would stay the night to help me out, then get up the next morning for work like she was well rested. Knowing darn well that Logan had wore our butts OUT!! We had the pleasure of spending spring break 2023 with Shontay doing what we do best eating good food, laughing, and enjoying each other. Lord knows I'm going to miss my Friend๐ซถ๐ฝ Forever in my heart Love you Tay๐๏ธโฅ๏ธ
Sending my condolences to the Sumter family. I met Shontay my freshman year in High School. We had class together, I want to say Mr. George's class. He had a cow doll or something like that named Bessie and someone had taken it. Before class, Mr. George would comment on saying that he missed Bessie and that it should be returned. Shontay would keep saying, "Ol' Bessie" really loud and would crack me up every time. She was so funny and friendly, and will surely be missed. - Vanessa
