Bertha leaves to cherish her memory four children; devoted daughters, Shelia Hughes and Patricia (Willie) Holt Sr.; sons, Melvin Reed and Sam Reed Jr.; and a host of family and friends; Public viewing, Friday August 26,2022 1-6pm, Smith Funeral Home, 706 Monroe Street. Family visitation, Saturday August 27,2022 11-12pm with service to follow at Hicks Tabernacle MBC 1515 Sweetbriar Ave., Pastor Jerry Holt.
