Julia Delores Hall Owens passed away quietly on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, following her extended illness with Congestive Heart Failure. She was greeted by her parents John and Della Drew Hall, sisters Thelma L. Hall Mitchell and Joyce Ann Hall Caudle, who preceded her in death. She is now peacefully at rest.
Judy, previously married to the late Wade L. Owens and to this union her truest love and only son Daryl Lamar Owens was born. He was truly the love of her life. During her illness, you would find her asking ‘where is my child’. Their special bond was seen by everyone with a uniqueness that was precious and sweet. Often Daryl would appear and get right up in her face to rub noses, this was their loving signature. She had a special bond with her siblings, younger brother John “Sonny” Hall, older sister Joyce and her younger sister Chris, until Joyce’s passing, at such time afterwards you would see she and Chris together. Judy affectionately called “Gramme” by her grands, shared a special loving affectionate relationship with her granddaughter DaLeshia and grandson Darius from birth until death. DaLeshia became the best caregiver and made sure her Gramme lacked for nothing. DeAngelo (Jasmine) and Darius gave her special blessings as she welcomed her great grands Grayson & DeArria. Judy was known for the dedicated love she had for her family.
