Mother Jones, as she was affectionately called will truly be missed. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Having known her all of my life means more to me than you will ever know. Having Oliver as my big brother and Deacon Jones as a father figure back in the day. At the age of 15 I sang at Deacon Oliver's home going service. This family was a pillar in the Herman St community area. I will always love the way Mother Jones used to tell us younger ladies how to behave and "pull up those slips" when we were at church. I will miss you so much! to my brother Oliver and family, I love you all very much and will keep you lifted in prayer!

I will always remember the good times we had at mother house. The ghost stories that were told by deacon Jones. And we were scared to walk home. But those memories will last forever. Oliver just know we love you and your family.
