She leaves to cherish her memory a very devoted husband, James Larry Sawyers; four children, Dante (Patricia) Sawyers, Larry Marqueze (Linda) Sawyers, Yves (Carlos) Haley, and Darrell (LaShonda) Sawyers; two step children, Timothy Oglesby and Jamela Sawyers; two sisters, Ernestine Holder and Ronza Buchanan; devoted grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Gregory (Pam) Jones and Warren Sawyers; seven sisters-in-law, Rosia Sawyers, Angela and Deloise Jones, Glenda (George) Dunlap, Tracci (Samuel) Sloss, Ramona (George) Douglas, and Theresa (Gary) Wilson; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Public viewing, Saturday September 10,2022, 1-6pm, Smith Funeral Home,706 Monroe Street. Visitation Sunday, September 11, 2022 at 4:00 P. M. Celebration of Life to follow at St James MBC 600 28th Ave North at 5:00 P. M.
