Danielle Monique Hunter, a woman of tremendous courage and abiding faith, transitioned from this life to eternal rest on April 22, 2023. She was born in Augusta, Georgia, and graduated from Morrow High School. She attended Spelman College and Mercer University earning her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and a Masters of Science in School Counseling, respectively. She was passionate about children and served as Site Coordinator for Communities In Schools of Atlanta at Asa G. Hilliard Elementary School. Her legacy of love and leadership will be sustained by her devoted husband, Dr. Wardell Hunter, and by her beloved sons, Wardell C. Hunter IV, Winston C. Hunter, and Warren C. Hunter. The family will host a Public Viewing from 1pm to 6pm on May 3, 2023, and wake service from 6pm to 7pm at Smith, Dennis-Smith Funeral Home (3041 Campbellton Road SW, Atlanta, GA 30311). Her Celebration of Life will take place at 12pm on May 4, 2023, at World Changers Church International (2500 Burdett Road, Atlanta, GA 30349); the Celebration of Life will be preceded by an 11am viewing. I'm very saddened to hear of Danielle's passing, I remember her from World Changers , although it's been years since I've seen her and just heard about it through the New Years's Eve service, I remember her beautiful smile and her kind and beautiful heart.
