Obituary For Florence B. Davis
Mrs. Florence B. Davis of Riverdale, Ga. passed April 22, 2022. Funeral Service April 30, 2022 at 12pm in our Chapel. Viewing April 29, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Service will be live stream( scroll to the end of obituary and select link). All participants are required to wear a mask while our Chapel seats 400 which allows for social distancing. For further information, please contact us at 404-349-2400. Mrs. Florence B Davis was born Oct 8, 1940, in Charleston South Carolina to the late Florence Bradley and Isaac Brisbane. She was the oldest sibling out of 8 children. Florence moved to Savannah Ga at the age of 2, she was married at the age of 19 to Thomas Phino Davis. She joined True Vine Church of God in Christ in Savannah Ga, after her husband passed she met James Wells Sr, where she then moved to Atlanta Ga and she was a house wife. Florence was a caring person. She loved her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and feeding people. Her door was always open to anyone who needed a place to stay.
She was preceded in death by her son James Wells Jr, daughter Rose Marie Carter and granddaughter Carlesha Wells.
Florence is survived by her children, daughter Kivia Davis son in law Stanley Mathews, daughter Cynthia Charlton son in law Clyde Scott and son Gregory Wells. Grandkids Raven Davis, VerdesuDon Davis, Tristin Carmichael, Ricardo Carmichael, Robert, and wife Sileena Carmichael, Sadaytria Davis, Abdul and wife Franchesa Charlton, Harold and wife Donna Charlton, LayAndre Davis, God daughter Kimbia Carmichael. 23 great grandkids and a host of family and friends.
