To the family of Mrs. Marie F. Holsey Blake, My deepest condolences to your family. Sister Blake was a member of the Order of Easter Star Chapter that I was a member of. She was on the craft committee. I had a afghan that was incomplete and she volunteered to complete it for me. She was very giving and donated many afghans for raffles to the organization for the whatever was needed. She will greatly be missed and I will always cherish my king size afghan that she completed for me. "Earth has no sorrow that heaven can't heal" Sharon Boston
Hello family. My name is Paula MARIE Sutton and I'm Marie Blake's great niece. Aunt Marie was my mother Lugenia Beasley's favorite aunt and inspired my mother to go to Spelman College and as doing that she became Valedictorian of her graduating class from Spelman and it was all because of Aunt Marie's motivation. My grandmother was Pauline Beasley who recently passed away at 104 years and I'm named after my grandmother Pauline and my great AUNT MARIE.
