Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Nolen Cox will be held at Southview Cemetery October 22, 2020 at 1:00 pm. Family asked that all person attending Service must wear a mask and maintain social distancing. On Thursday morning, October15, 2020, Nolen Cox was called home. He fought a good fight and kept his faith. He was the matriarch of our family, you brother, uncle, cousin, bother-n-law, and friend. He was preceded in death by his late wife Eddeena Cox, Father- Sennie Cox, Mother- Elouise Cox and Sister Denise Cox.
Nolen Cox was born to the late Sennie and Elouise Cox on October 17, 1952. He attended R.C. Hatch High School and graduated in 1971. He attended some college and spent a brief period in the military. He worked for the Atlanta Housing Authority and then began working as a Independent Contractor until he retired. He enjoyed cooking, watching sports all day and being a great husband, father, grandfather and provider for his family.
He leaves to cherish his memory his 2 daughters Kenya Lewis and Natasha Lewis. 3 sons Antonio Eaton, Nolen Lewis and Harry Lewis, 12 grandchildren Jameel Lewis, Javell Lewis, Jamiyah Lewis, Jayden Tellis, Touri Tellis, Jamari Johnson, Ariyah Murphy, Jade Lewis, Jordynn Eaton, Shaniyah Lewis, Janae Lewis and Jarvis Lewis. 3 sisters Shirley Williams, Peggy Johnson and Sabrina Wright. 1 Brother Sennie Cox and a host of nephews, niece’s family and friends.
