Funeral Services for Mr. Wallace W. Garrett Sr. will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 in our Chapel located at 3047 Campbellton Rd. SW., Atlanta, GA. 30311 at 12:00pm. Viewing will be Friday, November 26, 2021 from 1:00pm to 6:00 pm. All participants must wear a mask. Our Chapel seats 400 which allows for social distancing. Obituary

Wallace Garrett Sr. was born July 15, 1956, to the late Charlie M. Sr. and Rosie Mae Garrett in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended Atlanta Public Schools and was employed by the City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management. He had an abundance of love for his 3 children and 5 grandchildren. He enjoyed dressing up, cook-outs with family and friends, watching movies, and playing music, but most of all imitating the late great James Brown. Wallace answered God on November 12, 2021. He will be missed immensely but never forgotten. Wallace Sr. was preceded in death by his father Charlie M. Garrett Sr., mother Rosie Mae Garrett, brothers Eddie Smith Sr., and Leroy Garrett, sisters Annie Laura Morris, and Jaunita Garrett-Stallworth. He leaves to cherish his memories three loving children Wachelle Garrett, Jessica Hutchison, and Wallace Garrett Jr., five grandchildren Artavious Alexander, Jamecia Alexander, Joya Garrett, Jamiya Alexander, and Marion Knowles Jr. and a very special friend Brenda Anderson, three brothers Elow Smith, Charlie M. Garrett Jr., and Jerome (Belinda) Garrett, four sisters, Blanche (Michael) Wise, Venice (Arthur) Pettaway, Gloria (Edwin) Edwards, Barbara-Ann Garrett (Willie), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
