Marie Thompson Age 61 May 5, 1957~May 4, 2019

Words of Comfort for Ms. Marie Thompson will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 1:00 pm Greater East Lampton, Columbia, MS.

Visitation will be from 12 Noon until service time at the church.

Burial will be in Magees Creek Church Cemetery, Tylertown, MS. Reverend Calvin Brown officiating.

The Life and Legacy….

Sister Marie Thompson was the second of ten children born on May 5, 1957 in Foxworth, MS to the late Willie B. and Nancy Thompson. She accepted the Lord into her life at the age of 30 and served him faithfully until she was called to dwell in his presence on May 4, 2019. She was a faithful member of Greater East Lampton Church where she loved her church family and friends and displayed her love by serving as an usher and secretary of the usher board.

Marie is preceded in death by her parents Willie B. Sr. and Nancy, her son Eric, sister Mary Jo and brother Willie B. Jr. and Jessie B.

Marie leaves to treasure in her memories three beautiful children: Eric, Rose (Tavin) and Anthony (Jennifer). Nine grandchildren: Ariana, Torrian, Eric Jr., Christian, Ashton, Jordan, Hunter, Austin and Lisa Marie. Four sisters Gloria (Fred), Wanda (Lil Boosie), Willena, Brenda (Jeff Browns). Six brothers; Edward, Charles (Dorothy) Ron, Ronnie, Willie B. Jr.; she also leaves behind two very dear friends Janice Myers and Mary Brown, her trusted companion Missy, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
