Service: Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 12:00 noon at First Baptist Church, 200 W. Walnut St. Danville, Kentucky. Visitation: begins at 10:00 am - 11:45 am Burial: Following the service at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Jessamine Co. Kentucky at 2:30pm

Charles (Chuck) Keith Daugherty, 68, of Danville, Kentucky, entered into eternal rest at his home on September 1, 2026.

He was born March 5, 1958, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Clarence Everett Daugherty and Catherine Buffington Daugherty. At an early age, Chuck relocated to Danville, where he was raised by his late aunt and uncle, Yvonne June Christy and June “Mutt” Thomas Christy.

Charles was a member of the First Baptist Church in Danville and a proud 1977 graduate of Danville High School, where he excelled in track and basketball. Following graduation, he honorably served his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force before receiving his honorable discharge. Upon returning to Danville, Charles entered the workforce and retired after many years of dedicated service.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Denise (Durham) Daugherty; three brothers, Gil Boyce, Don Boyce, and June Boyce; his nieces, Catherine Daugherty, Gina Daugherty, Anastacia Llamas, Trevania Lynch, and Jamie Tucker; his sisters-in-law, Sunae Daugherty, Mary Llamas, Renee Durham, Sherlene Tucker, and Charlene Minnifield; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and close relatives.
