Jo Cecil Durham, 85, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 9, 2023 in Danville, KY
Jo Cecil was born on April 18, 1938 in Danville, KY to the Lurlene Mayfield Grey and William B. Graves.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Donnie Graves.
Jo Cecil was a faithful and devoted member of First Baptist Davistown, Lancaster, KY, serving as Missionary Auxiliary President, Kitchen Steward, Usher, just to name a few.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Sherlene Tucker, Charlene Minnifield, Sharon (Chuck) Daugherty, Ernestine Renee Durham, Mary Elizabeth Llamas; brother, Jerry (Karen) Graves; five grandchildren, Jamie βPumpkinβ Tucker, DeAngleo (Whitney) Durham, Trevania (Derek) Lynch, Anastacia Llamas, Stephon Minnifield; 11 great grandchildren; a fond friend, Darren Lentz; also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Services, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, December 14, 2023 at First Baptist Davistown, 518 Old Davistown School Rd, Lancaster, KY, Rev. H. Felix Ross, Pastor.
Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery, 6981 Danville Road, Nicholasville, KY
Visitation after 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Public Viewing Visitation, will be held 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at First Baptist Davistown.
