Lewis McDonald Helm, 71, answered the final call to enter into eternal life on November 13, 2020 at his home. He was born September 23, 1949 to Joe W. and Velma Helm. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Lewis knew the Lord and was kind and had a sweet disposition about him, pleasant to be around and would always lend a helping hand in the community. He enjoyed his sports, football, basketball, also gardening, going to flea markets, listening to the Radio, music and loved to be outside.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, William “Bill” Helm, Ralph Helm, Sylvester “Vet” Helm and Joe “Buzzy” Helm, one niece and nephew, three brothers-in laws. Lewis is survived by his sisters, Juanita Helm, Margaret Stateman, Bernice Cloyd, all of Stanford, Kentucky and Yvonne Mucker, Crab Orchard, Kentucky; one brother Hubert Helm, Stanford, Kentucky; a host of other relatives and special friends, Jeff Gooch, Melvin Gooch, George Miller, Telvin Stateman, just to name a few, he had a lot of friends.
