Marthetta Smith Clark, 86 of Danville, Kentucky, widow of Howard Clark, Jr., was called home to be with the Lord, at her home surrounded by her family early Thursday morning, November 30, 2023. Born June 26, 1937, a twin, in Boyle County, Kentucky to the late Raymond Cloud Smith and Margaret Coates Smith Tarrence.
She was a community service worker, serving on Boyle African Historical Society, Homemakers, Boyle Landmark and Trust, Arts Commission and Galley Hop. Retired from Whirlpool and started a little business called Little Jimmies.
She is survived by her four daughters; Charletta Delaney, Regina Harris, Margaret Singleton, and Sadie Gambrel; 11 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
