Rita Gail Jarmon Hawkins, 60, passed on Monday, August 21, 2023, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Hospital in Danville, KY.

She was the daughter of William Eugene and Bernice Jarmon born July 31, 1963, in Danville, KY.

Rita, graduated from Danville High School and graduated from University of Kentucky with a Bachelors Degree in Medical Administration. She was formally employed as Director of Christ The Head Day Care for many years. Rita was employed by Hometown Kids.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren, loved shopping, going to sport events, baking and going to yard sales.

Rita is survived by her husband Albert Hawkins, Jr.; her children, Jasmine Hawkins, Tiffany (Lamond) Russell, Albert Joseph Hawkins; her sister, Rosalyn Faulkner; grandchildren, Ja’Keem Ray, Amara Carmichael, Tayshia Hawkins, Mia Hawkins, Simone Hawkins, Amair Contreras, Jadarius Brown and Aron Hawkins; mother-in-law; Martha Gray; nephews, Donald “Donnie” Faulkner, Jr., RaShaad (Sharkia) Faulkner; great nephews, Malika and RaShaad Faulkner; eight brothers-in-laws, eleven sisters-in-law; host of nieces, nephews, special friends, Rachel Isbell, Roslyn Coulter, other relatives and friends.
