Shirley Owsley, received her wings on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Ephriam McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born February 24, 1937 to Stanley, Sr. and Lucille Logan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Owsley, daughter, Ruby Owsley, her parents, Stanley Logan, Sr. and Lucille Logan, sister, Amanda Martin and two brothers, Stanley Logan, Jr. and Paul Logan.
Shirley was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother. She loved life and even more so she loved her family. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Danville, KY. Shirley never met a stranger and was a friend to many.
She is survived by her children, Cynthia Owsley, Ann Love and Buck Owsley; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary K. Boards and Barbara Pigg; two brothers, Davey Wayne Logan and Michael Logan; also, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and lots of friends.

Time: 12:00 pm Noon
Place: First Baptist Danville, 200 W. Walnut Street, Danville, KY
Visitation: beginning at 11:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm.
Final Resting Place: Hilldale Cemetery, Duncan Hill Rd. Danville, KY

I'm so sorry to hear of Mrs Owsley's passing. I was asking about her ages months ago. She was always very sweet and kind. Always a kind word. A gentle soul. Condolences to the family.
I will miss my sweet cousin, Shirley! She was always loving and kind during our talks and visits when we came to Danville and at our Family Reunions. Rest in Paradise until we meet again .
