William Booker Brown, 68, of Stanford, KY passed away on December 23, 2020 in Lincoln County. He was born on April 15, 1952 in Stanford, KY to the late Dorothy "Mama Dot" and Clarence "Shug" Brown, both parents preceded him in death.
William was a born-again child of God, who was a believer in Jesus Christ. He was baptized and joined Boneyville Baptist Church in Stanford at an early age. However, he moved his membership to Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Lancaster in order to serve alongside his nephew, Bishop Joseph Shea Brown. William was ordained a Deacon at Pleasant Valley and served faithfully assisting his pastor, the church, attend bible study, and attended church services.
William was a loyal hardcore UK Wildcats Basketball and Football fan and a Cleveland Browns Fan also. He was employed at American Greeting for 48 years and Advance Auto Parts was employed there for over 20 years.
William leaves behind to cherish his memory: his close sister, Gail Brown; sisters, Audrey Perrin(Eugene, deceased), Phyllis Pittman (William, deceased), and Ruby Gray (Leonard): his brothers, Clarence Brown (Joyce) and Anthony Brown. He leaves behind his special nephew and pastor Joseph Shea Brown whom was like a son to him, also a host of nephews and nieces, great and great-great nephews and nieces; and a host of cousins.
