Obituary For LARRY DARNELL “TOODA/TRINA” BROWN II
Larry “Tooda/Trina” Brown II was born on December 16, 1984, in Wadesboro, NC, and entered into eternal rest on February 18, 2026, at his home in Wadesboro, NC.
Tooda was the beloved son of Nancy Chambers, Larry Brown, and Luther Diggs, Sr. Tooda was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Chambers, paternal grandparents, Henry “Coolie” and Bernice Brown, uncles, Lee Chambers and Marion Brown, beloved cousin and best friend, Jessie Willoughby, Jr, and beloved cousin, Sonya McManus.
Tooda attended Anson County Schools and graduated from Anson High School. Although Tooda took on many different jobs, he spent most of his time caring for kids. Tooda assisted in raising his younger siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Tooda was known for having the purest heart and love and giving his last to anyone. Tooda was so passionate about helping others that he recently began pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. Tooda confessed his life to Christ at an early age.
Tooda leaves behind his parents Nancy Chambers of Morven, NC, Larry Brown of Lilesville, NC, Luther Diggs, Sr of Greensboro, NC, his maternal grandfather, Howard Chambers of Morven, NC, his brother, Justin Brown of Morven, NC, stepbrother, Luther Diggs, Jr. of Wadesboro, NC, his sisters, Mary (Leshaun) Diggs-Garris of Iron Station, NC and Lakenya Brown of Morven, NC, his stepsisters, Sarita Washington of Morven, NC and Latrice Turner of Charlotte, NC, his aunts, Annie Chambers of Morven, NC, Melverta Diggs of Lilesville, NC, and Betty Jean Howard of Lilesville, NC, his nephew, Kiyon Brown, and four nieces, Amayah, Addison-Elaine, Layla, and Savannah. He also leaves behind his cousin who stood in as his aunt, Anetha Bostick of Rockingham, NC. A host of cousins, relatives and friends.
The Celebration of Life Services will be on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, 3:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will be in the family plot of the Gatewood Station AME Zion Church Cemetery, Morven, North Carolina.
