MR. BILLY RAY HENRY, known to his family and friends as “Pluck” was born on April 02, 1965 in Ansonville, North Carolina to the late Queenie Mae Henry and June Henry. He went home to be with his Heavenly Father on December 05, 2021 at 402 Graham Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina.
Billy attended the public schools of Anson County. He was a member of Rocky Mount AME Zion Church, in Ansonville, North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Queenie Mae Henry’ father, June Henry; brothers, Robert Dale Henry, Bobby Henry, Pearlie Ingram and William Henry; sisters, Lucille Hudson and Johnsie Pickett and grandson, Johniele Emerson.
“Pluck” was a hardworking family man. He was a loveable person who loved to help people in his community. Billy worked for several years at Rebel Lumber Company until he retired.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories his daughter, Johnette Emerson, High Point, North Carolina; One sister, Betty Parker, High Point, North Carolina; and One brother, Walter Henry, High Point, North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Billy had special friends that would look after him, Bo and Charles.
The Memorial Service for Mr. Henry will be on Saturday, December 18, 2021, 11:00am, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina.
