Obituary For MR. BOBBY GENE BENNETT
MR. BOBBY GENE BENNETT of Wadesboro, North Carolina, peacefully departed this life on Friday, August 22, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his loving and devoted wife, children, and family.
The Homegoing Services will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Parsons Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Lilesville, North Carolina. Interment will follow in the family plot of the Church Cemetery.
The Bennett Family will greet family and friends on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. at Parsons Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Lilesville, North Carolina.
The public viewing will be on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 2:00 to 5:00pm at Smith's Funeral Home.

Bobby was a great friend/neighbor we grew up in one neighborhood I was on 7th street and he was on 8th street then he moved to Redwood and I followed him to cherrywood. Right around the corner there was no way he could get away from me. We were family.So my condolences and prayers go out to Brenda/ the children/ grandchildren and the entire Bennett family. Bobby will be missed by everyone he met. He was no stranger. RIP My FriendππΎππΎ

Mr. Bobby was a great friend to my family. Most often, he and I would share laughs and jokes at the courthouse, reminiscing about my dad and his brothers and sisters; Mr. Bobby had many, many stories to tell of my daddy, many of which I will remember for a lifetime. My prayer is that God will comfort the Bennett family during their time of bereavement. They (the family) were an intricate part of our healing journey through many of our family's losses. He will be missed tremendously.

Bobby was truly a great man. It was always a pleasure to be in his presence and see the joy his family would bring him especially his daughters and grandkids! He will be sorely missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. We rest in knowing that to be absent from the body is to be in God's presence! Glory to God for his well lived life!
