Dalah Lee Gould lovingly known as “Doe” was born on October 18, 1962 to the late Elie Gould Jr. and Mae Catherine Gould. He made his transition from earth to his heavenly reward on Friday, April 3, 2026.
Dalah attended school at Ellerbe Junior High School. He joined Chestnut AME Zion Church at an early age. He was employed at different lumber companies throughout Richmond and Montgomery counties.
Dalah was preceded in death by his father, Elie Gould Jr. and sister, Lisa Kay Gould.
He leaves to cherish his life on this earth his mother, Mae Catherine Could of the home; six (6) sisters, Lillie Mae Gould, Linda Ann Gould, Patricia Gould all of the home, Sharrion (Vernon) Collins of Mt. Gilead, North Carolina, Annie Mae Gould of Mt. Gilead, North Carolina, and Barbara (Kevin) Little of Wadesboro, North Carolina. Three (3) brothers, William Gould of the home, James (Angela) Little of Granite Quarry, North Carolina and Walter (Sherrilynn) Little of Thomasville, North Carolina.
Four (4) aunts, Shirley Little and Rebecca Bradley of Mt. Gilead, North Carolina, Nettie Little and Evon Little of High Point, North Carolina. One (1) uncle, Ruben (Martha) Gould of Albany, New York.
Two (2) special nieces, Brittany Allen and Ladaria Bowden of the home and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The Homegoing Services will be on Saturday, April 11, 2026, 2:00pm, Chestnut AME Zion Church, Mount Gilead, North Carolina. Interment will follow in the family plot of the Church Cemetery.
