So sorry to about Mr. Decosta passing. He was a good person and I worked with him at Anson County Hospital. He always wore a smile and loved to joke around with the patients too. He is going to be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Now, Decosta, didn't you know you were supposed to live forever? I find it hard to believe you were 79 because you had such a young and fun spirit. I remember you picking me up from school, cutting up with my brother and I, helping out at my surprise 21st birthday party, hearing tales of you horseback riding with Mickey, and so many fun memories over the decades. You are someone that will truly be missed by all of Anson County. Rest easy, sweet man, until we meet again!

What memories I could share about the horse trails Decosta & I rode together. I think his favorite was Cooper Black in SC. He was ALWAYS so good to me. I seldom had to saddle my own horse. I will miss my old friend even though neither of us could ride anymore. My prayers & condolences go out to Gloria, Stacey & the rest of his family.
