Demond Edward Johnson, son of the late Harvey and the late Eva Mae Cash Johnson, was born September 5, 1978.
II Timothy 4:6 tells us, “The time of departure is at hand.” Demond realized that his days were numbered, so he began to prepare for his departure, getting his spiritual and physical houses in order and spending time with his family and friends. Early Saturday morning, December 28th, an Angel informed Demond that his flight would be leaving from Virginia Avenue Cheraw, South Carolina Airport, and he would be boarding at gate 107. His flight was ready for departure.
At an early age, Demond accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and joined Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
Demond was a graduate of Chesterfield Senior High School, Class of 1996.
He was united into Holy matrimony to April Peterkin on June 7, 2008.
He was employed as a setup technician with Schaeffler in Cheraw, SC.
He was a loving husband, father, nephew, uncle, cousin, friend, coworker and Bookie. He loved to cook and try new recipes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Eva Mae Cash Johnson, and brother, Stanley Johnson.
