Obituary For MR. JAMES ROY HUNTLEY
MR. JAMES ROY HUNTLEY, age 76, of Norwood, North Carolina, peacefully departed this life on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Hospice of Cabarrus County, Kannapolis, North Carolina.
The Homegoing Services will be on Sunday, August 31, 2025, 1:00pm, at Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will be at Barringer Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, Norwood, North Carolina.
The Huntley Family will greet family and friends on Sunday, August 31, 2025 from 12:30-1:00 at Smith's Memorial Chapel and at all other times at the family residence in Norwood, North Carolina.
The public viewing will be on Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 1:00-5:00pm at Smith's Funeral Home.

Family, we were so sorry to hear that Roy had passed. We are praying that God will give you the strength you need during your hours of bereavement.. We will always remember Roy because of his kindness, loving personality and love for his family. He will be missed, but he will always be remembered. He is now healed and has migrated to a house not made by Man's hands, but by God's Hands. Look to God always for your strength and inner peace in the coming days, months and years We apologize that we cannot be with you on Sunday; but just know that we will be praying for you. We love you; and pray that God's bountiful blessings, love and peace will be with you always.
