I want to express my deepest condolences to the Little Family! Scotty was a very kind man and had a great heart! He loved being around people and I enjoyed talking with him about his time in the military. He was a known person in the Marvin Ridge community and I know people miss him dearly. Rest in peace Mr. Scotty!

We were very close growing up by spending alot time at each other's house, when our mothers: (sisters) Lucille and Mae West would visit each other all the time. James Scotty Little,(AKA, Scotty, Scotty Joe,Prime Time) I met Scotty as a young Correctional Officer and K-9 handler. I worked along aside of Scotty as a Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain,(PERT) Squad and Platoon Leader. Scotty knew Prison Operations and how to deal with inmates and staff. He always wore his uniform with pride (starched and spit shined shoes). Scotty Loved his daughters...("My girls") his words. I'll miss MY Friend "Scotty Joe" and Fellow Comrade. "Semper Fi"

Sending my prayers to his loving friends and family. Mr. Scotty truly lit up every room he entered. The entire Emezie family loved him dearly. He made my time as a student at Marvin special — a warm, familiar face I saw every day and such a wonderful soul to have known. I spoke with my cousin/friend about three weeks ago, not knowing we wouldn't speak to each other again. I will truly miss you cousin. You have done what we all have been assigned to do.
