Obituary For MR. WALTER W. WATKINS JR.

MR. WALTER W. WATKINS, JR., age 72, of Wadesboro, North Carolina peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his loving and devoted wife, children, and extended family.

The Homegoing Services will be on Sunday, April 19, 2026, 3:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will follow in the family plot of the Cedar Hill AME Zion Church Cemetery, Ansonville, North Carolina.

The Watkins Family will greet family and friends on Sunday, April 19, 2026 from 2:30-3:00pm at Smith's Memorial Chapel, Wadesboro, North Carolina and at all other times at the family residence.

The public viewing will be on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 2:30-5:30pm.
