On January 30, 1970, William Edward Little, known to all as โPete,โ was born in Wadesboro, North Carolina, to the late William Thomas Pickett and Redessa Little Pickett. On Friday, January 24, 2025, William departed this earthly life for his eternal rest.
He was preceded in death by his baby brother, James Pickett, and nephew, Travis Pickett.
William attended the public schools of Anson County. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He will truly be missed by all the lives he touched. Even though he is gone, he will NEVER be forgotten.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Redessa Pickett; his only child, Tamar Tillman; five sisters, Myra Little, Annette Little, Angela Pickett, Joanne Crawford, and Patsy (Shawn) Brittian; a host of nieces and nephews; a special friend, Lamar Liles, a special lady in his life, Lynn OโNeal, cousins, relatives, and many friends.
The Homegoing Services will be on Sunday, February 2, 2025, 3:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will be in the family plot of Sandy Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Morven, North Carolina.
The Little Family will greet family and friends on Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 2:30-3:00pm at Smith's Memorial Chapel and at all other times at the family residence, 1394 Cason Old Field Road, Morven, North Carolina.
The public viewing will be on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 3:00-5:00pm.

I am so sorry for your loss! May God give the family strength to stand and behold in the mighty name of Jesus. I have known (Pete) a very long time, truly a friend of the family.
