Mr. Willie Huntley known to many as “Willie B.” was born May 20, 1954 to Bernice and Curtis Lindsey. He departed this life at the age of 68.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Henrietta Huntley and son, Edward Lindsey.
He was educated in the public schools of Anson County and was a 1973 graduate of Bowman Senior High School.
He confessed to Christ at an early age and was a member of Forestville AME Zion Church in Lilesville, NC.
He leaves to cherish his lovely wife, Mary Huntley of the home. His mother, Lucille (Curtis) of Cheraw, SC. Eight (8) children: Willis (Jayda) Huntley of Winston Salem, NC, Natasha (Theo) Greene of Ruby, SC, Brook (Adrian) Allen of Monroe, NC, James (Shatreacia) Sellers of Indian Trail, NC, Christopher (Evann) Huntley of Wingate, NC Clarence (Patricia) Sellers of Saint Matthews, SC, Shaketa Rorie of Lancaster, SC and Hester Lindsey of Morven, NC; thirty-three (33) grandchildren and seventeen (17) great grands. One sister, Patricia Ratliff of Morven, NC. Two special nieces, Victoria Massey and Lee Anna Watson. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.
The Homegoing Services will be on Sunday, January 9, 2022, 1:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina.
The public viewing for Mr. Huntley will be on Saturday, January 8, 2021 from 4:00-6:00pm at Smith's Funeral Home.
Face Mask/Coverings ARE REQUIRED to be worn.
