Obituary For Mrs. Annie Mae Gaddy Leak

Mrs. Annie Mae Gaddy Leak was born July 2, 1930 to the late James (Jimmy) Gaddy and Nettie Watson Gaddy. She departed this life on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.

She confessed Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and joined the West Deep Creek Missionary Baptist Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Wadesboro, North Carolina where she served faithfully.

She was employed by Anson County Schools until her retirement.

She was a member of Pilgrim Chapter #244, Order of the Eastern Star, PHA.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to Fred Leak Sr. who preceded her in death. To this union seven (7) children were born.

Left to cherish her memories are two sons, Rev. Fred Leak Jr. (Alberta) of Wadesboro, North Carolina and David Leak (Jeanette) of Ansonville, North Carolina; five daughters, Yvette Whitaker of Thomasville, North Carolina, Yvonne Rorie of New London, North Carolina, Priscilla Montgomery (Ray) of Concord, North Carolina, Nannie K. Davis and Terry Johnson both of Wadesboro, North Carolina. Fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Three sisters, Lydia B. Little, Elnora Joseph and Virginia Cash. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The Homegoing Services will be on Saturday, August 20, 2022, 3:00pm, West Deep Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will follow in the Leak Family Plot of the Church Cemetery.
