Our pretty lady, Mrs. April Sheril Huntley Sturdivant, was born in Union County, NC on April 5, 1969, to the late Robert B. Huntley and Lillie M. Huntley.
Her formal education was received in the Anson County School System. She was reared in a Christian home. At an early age, April accepted Christ and joined Wingate Community Church of God. She served as the church nurse for several years. She served as a faithful member of the church.
On September 1, 1990, after meeting the love of her life, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Antonio Sturdivant. To this union, one loving son and two beautiful daughters were born.
When we look at our pretty lady, April, we remember all the precious times we shared.
She leaves to honor her legacy: a faithful and loving husband, Antonio Sturdivant, of the home; a loving son, DeMarco Huntley, of Wadesboro, NC; two beautiful daughters, LaDravia Sturdivant Bennett (Vance) of Rockingham, NC, and Keandra Sturdivant of Houston, Texas. Seven grandchildren: Laniya, Demauriana, Lillian, Miyani, Collin, London and Jamarion. One brother, Cecil (Sabrina) of Monroe, NC, and one sister, Pansy Little (Gabriel) of Wadesboro, NC; mother-in-law, Dotsie Sturdivant of Peachland, NC and a host of aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and friends.
The Homegoing Services will be on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, 2:00 PM, Smith’s Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will be in the family plot of the Wingate Community Church Of God, Wingate, North Carolina.
My deepest sympathy goes out to you at this difficult time.

I am so sorry about the passing of a sweet hardworking lady who loved working for her church. She would be nursing or ushering. She had the perfect personality to do kingdom work. She will definitely be missed and her passing took me for a loop. We loved her and we love the family and are praying for their strength.
