LETTER OF CONDOLENCE The Campbell County High School Class of 1961, extends our deepest sympathy to the family of our classmate, Arkie White Poe'
Although it seems that day is done when evening shadows fall We know the sun is rising someplace, shining over all. And so, it is when loved one's part, for darkness hides the way. It takes the eyes of faith to see that somewhere it is day. Although we cannot follow now the one who's gone before. We know a new dawn has begun upon the distant shore.
It is comforting to know that Jesus tells us in John 14: to "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." To die in Christ is to live with Him forever.
There's a special place in all our hearts for our family. You and your family will continue to carry memories of Arkie in that special place in your heart. No one can replace your loved one, but God can comfort your heart. Know that Arkie's classmates are here for you and your family. We share your loss, we offer our continued love; and most of all, we assure you of God's presence, His love for us, and His commitment that He will never leave us. We will continue to care for you and your family, and we will be praying that you will be comforted by the love and support from God and those you love.
Lovingly submitted, Campbell County High School Class of 1961 January 27, 2023
