My heart is overwhelmed with sorrow!! When Brenda (Sister) first gave up the ghost, I felt a sort of quiet sadness because I witnessed every step of her journey: the diagnosis, its progression and now...her transition. But now, my grief is almost insoluble. That quiet sadness has grown to an empty hole in my heart!!! I am going to miss my sister-in-law!! I send condolences to her immediate family: Rodney, my niece, Teah, and her grandbaby, Nevayeh {Toot). I also extend prayers to the entire family. I love you all!!! (FRANKIE)

Brenda was a vital part of our Fayetteville State University Class of 1978. I met her during Freshman Orientation week in 1974. She was very friendly, rather comical, and always so full of life. Brenda Burch was a special young lady and we will all miss her presence. May her memory forever be a blessing to all who were blessed to know her.

Audrey (Williams) Bates

My condolences to the Burch-Spencer families. I met Brenda at Fayetteville State University our during our year. We lived in the same dorm, and because I was then living in Anson Co., we became "home girls" and friends. After college we only saw each other occasionally, but always took the time for a "catch up" conversation. God bless and comfort the family, and may you RIP Brenda. Fellow BRONCO, Class of 78.
