So lean on Him, and you will never walk alone 🙏🏽 I am Pat Porter and I worked with Amelia at United Healthcare. She was a kind, gentle, and sweet person. She will never be forgotten. We called her Rena when I lived in Union County she and I was a member of West Rocky Ford Baptist Church in Wadesboro NC under the leadership of Pastor Lennon Parson she was quiet always had a nice smile and would help where she could she was a private person. She had moved to Durham NC and we had talked about a year or so about getting together and going out to eat. With her work schedule and my schedule it didn't happen. I am going to really miss her sleep in little lady I don't know how you might have suffered or the pain you had to endure but it's over now.

Praying 🙏🏾 for the family of Deacon Amelia in this time of mourning. She was a beacon of light at WOCC and she served the church well with her gentle spirit and her loving smile. She will truly be missed .

I 1st met Amelia working at BCBSNC and reconnected with her years later at WOCC. I will hold dear to our last conversation about how good God is! I'm thankful we were able to reconnect. She was always so kind to me. Her love for her Daddy was immeasurable. My prayers go out to all that knew her and loved her. She will be missed immensely.

Amelia will be missed. I was her supervisor when she first came to BCBSNC. She had a wonderful spirit and beautiful smile. I am happy that our paths crossed. Rest well my friend. #GoneButWillNeverBeForgotten
