Passed 04/19/2026

Obituary For MS. PAMALA MARIE WEEMS WILLIAMS

Pamala Marie Weems was born on August 21, 1963, a life gifted to this world with purpose, warmth, joy, and love. On April 19, 2026, as the sun gently set, she peacefully transitioned in Rockingham, NC, leaving behind a legacy that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Pamala was born to Coleman Lee Weems and Louise Marie Lee Weems. She is now reunited in eternal rest with her parents, Coleman Lee Weems and Louise Lee Weems, her brother Coleman Weems Jr., her siblings Deltrich Colhoun and Paul Weems, and her beloved grandson, DarVon M. Fletcher, who all preceded her in passing.

Pamala was a woman of strength, grace, and determination. She earned her General Education Diploma and worked faithfully as a Machine Operator at TODAY Tech. She carried herself with resilience and a quiet strength that touched everyone around her.

To know Pamala was to experience light. She had a beautiful spirit and a presence that could brighten any room the moment she entered. Her laughter was contagious, her heart was genuine, and her love was unconditional. She enjoyed cooking and bringing family together through food, laughter, and fellowship.

Her faith was deeply rooted in God. She attended church faithfully and knew how to pray with power, sincerity, and love. Her prayers became a covering over her children, grandchildren, and family, and that legacy of prayer will continue for generations to come.

Pamala had a deep love for music and dancing. Dancing was a part of who she was. She loved teaching her children and family how to dance, laugh, and enjoy life. She also enjoyed watching cartoons, reading books, and relaxing while watching action movies. Her joyful personality and sense of humor brought comfort and happiness to those around her.

She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her five children: Patrick Cole Jr., whose wife is Dewana Cole; Derrelle Cole; Patrice Weems; Jasmine Staffney; and Elashia Staffney. She also leaves behind a brother, Puncho Weems; a special grandson, Paul Stevenson Weems II; and a host of beloved grandchildren, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure her love, wisdom, laughter, and memory.

The Homegoing Services will be on Thursday, April 30, 2026, 12:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will be private.
