Ms. Pearletta Gaddy, lovingly known as Pearl), the daughter of the late John W. Gaddy and Lena Mae Willoughby Gaddy was born November 25, 1965. She departed this life on May 7, 2026 at Meadowview Terrace Of Wadesboro.
Pearletta attended the public schools of Anson County. She confessed Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member at Gatewood Station A.M.E. Zion Church, Morven, NC until her health failed.
In addition to her parents, John and Lena Mae Gaddy she was preceded in death by her only brother, James Thomas Gaddy and two brothers-in-law.
She leaves to cherish her memories six sisters, Mary Ratliff, Linda Huntley, Lounette Gaddy, Jennie Bernice Gaddy, Charlie Day and Thelma Gaddy; one brother-in-law, Henry McBryde who she was very close to; special friends, Sandra Rivers, Lee Doris Richardson and Frances Teal. A host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Pearletta’s smile and love will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The void she leaves behind is immense, but her spirit will continue to inspire us to spread love and kindness.
The Homegoing Services will be on Saturday, May 16, 2026, 1:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will be at Westview.
