MS. SOPHIA SHELIA WILLOUGHBY was born on December 19, 1977 in Anson County Hospital, Wadesboro, NC to the late Birtha May Willoughby Hubbard and Steven James Hubbard. She entered into eternal rest on June 16, 2021 at Carolinas Health Care System-Anson in Wadesboro, NC.

She attended the public schools of Anson County and graduated from Bowman High School. She enjoyed dressing up and hanging out with family and friends at family gatherings. Her favorite saying was, "You Know."

She was preceded in death by her mother, Birther Maye Willoughby Hubbard.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Unique Willoughby (Skye) of the home; two sons, Jahiam and Zyquan Willoughby of the home; three sisters, Layonya Hubbard, Sandra Liles (Danny) and Latisha Marsh all of Wadesboro, NC; three brothers, Demond Hubbard (April), Steven Hubbard and Bobby Liles all of Wadesboro, NC. Four aunts, Ruby Willoughby of Charlotte, NC, Winie Williams (Teddy), Pauline Ratliff and Bertha McLendon all of Wadesboro, NC. Three uncles, Oscar Willoughby (Linda), William (Winnie) Thomas and Artis (Mary) Willoughby all of Wadesboro, NC. A special cousin, Doris Willoughby; a special friend, Larry Sharper and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

The Homegoing Services were held on Friday, June 25, 2021, 2:00pm, Smith’s Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, NC. Interment followed in Westview Cemetery, Wadesboro, NC.
