Ms. Vianne Medley, known as “Sis” daughter of the late Cain Medley Jr. and Mary Davenport Medley was born on November 12, 1953. She peacefully departed her life on April 2, 2024.
She joined OGMBC at an early age.
She attended the public schools of Richmond County.
She was employed at Carolina Cut-N-Sew of Mt. Gilead, NC until her health declined.
Sis was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She lived her life to the fullest and always had a joke for you. She will forever be cherished in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cain and Mary Medley and one brother, Cain Zelbert Medley III.
Left to cherish her memories are two daughters, Keena Green (Everitt) of Mt. Gilead, NC and Kosha John (Paul) of Baltimore, Maryland. Four grandchildren, Diezel and Mia Green and Myla and Yurie John.

Uncle and aunt, Josh Davenport of Plainfield, New Jersey and Bobbie J. Everett of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The Services To Celebrate the Life of Ms. Medley will be on Saturday, April 6, 2024, 2:00pm, in the Chapel of Smith Funeral Home, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will be in the family plot of the Oliver Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Mount Gilead, North Carolina.
The Medley Family will greet family and friends on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 1:30-2:00pm in the Chapel of Smith Funeral Home.
The public viewing will be on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 2:30-5:30pm.
